This prestigious recognition highlights our dedication to environmental stewardship, ethical practices, and sustainable procurement.
EcoVadis, a globally recognized assessment platform, evaluates businesses’ sustainability performance across four key categories: environmental impact, labor and human rights standards, ethics, and procurement practices. We are proud to report that in 2024, our score improved and increased by 18% compared to 2023, elevating us to the 80th percentile.
Sustainability and CSR have always been integral to the mission at Think Lightweight and Cedarcrest Wood Products. For over 40 years, our unwavering dedication to these principles has enabled us to produce high-quality wood products at our original location. This commitment is not only a testament to our values but also a cornerstone of our operational excellence.
Continuous Improvement
We are actively working on a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) to further enhance our sustainability management system. EcoVadis CAP is a collaborative tool that helps companies build and execute improvement plans, communicate progress, and receive feedback. At Think Lightweight and Cedarcrest Wood Products, we are focused on making continuous improvements to achieve even higher sustainability standards.
With over two million sustainability assessments conducted, EcoVadis has evaluated approximately 130,000 companies across more than 220 sectors. Their assessments are based on leading standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact (UNGC), and ISO 26000. At Think Lightweight and Cedarcrest Wood Products, we are committed to taking our sustainability efforts to the next level, with the ambitious goal of achieving a silver medal in 2025.
